Do Not Sell
Do Not Sell or Share My Info
Last updated: 2026-08-08
If you live in California (CCPA/CPRA), or in another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you can require that your personal information not be sold or shared for cross-context behavioural advertising. This page sets out how to exercise that right with Bookwithlogic.
What to Expect
Opting out stops the sharing of advertising identifiers; it does not remove advertising from the site. You may still see ads, but they will be generic rather than selected from your browsing history. Nothing else about the site changes, and we do not degrade access or withhold content because you opted out.
Scope of This Right
- Nothing is sold for cash. What may occur is that, where advertising appears on this site, advertising partners receive cookie and device identifiers tied to your browser — conduct potentially covered by the statutory terms ‘sale’ and ‘sharing’. We treat it as covered and give you the opt-out.
- The opt-out covers all visitors to bookwithlogic.com, including readers interested in Bookwithlogic who simply read an article and leave.
How to Opt Out
To exercise the right: enable Global Privacy Control in your browser (honoured automatically, no message needed); or refuse advertising cookies via the consent banner where shown; or send an email to hello@bookwithlogic.com with the subject ‘Do Not Sell or Share’. We will not ask you to create an account to do this.
Full detail on state privacy rights, including access and deletion, is in our State Privacy Notice.
